Yamaha XT description

2008 Yamaha XT 250, Excellent condition! SAVE big off a new one. 503 769 8888Dual purpose versatility, non-stop fun.

A reliable 4-stroke powerplant calls the shots on the all new XT250. But reliability isn't necessarily what you'll be thinking of when the pavement ends and your adventure really begins. Whether commuting around town or exploring the back country, the new XT250 is a fun loving dual sport.

The Yamaha XT250 is new for 2008, but the XT mission remains the same; to get you as far out of town and into nature as you want to go. The newest XT's bigger engine and extensive upgrades, take the XT to the next level of fun and all-around function.

Where does your riding take you ? Commuting in city traffic, winding down a country road or hustling your way down a trail to nowhere? For those who can't decide, we have the perfect answer.

The all new XT250 is designed for ultimate versatility at a great price. A new 4-stroke engine revs out predictable power, while a wide-ratio 5-speed transmission and class-leading low seat height gives you both performance and ease of use. Whether riding in the city or at the camp, let the new XT250 spice up your adventure.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

What Has James Stewart Been Up To? [video]

The last time we checked up on James Stewart, he wasn’t having a good year. First, there was the season-ending injury in the second round of the 2010 AMA Supercross campaign, an ill-advised comeback at the Unadilla National, and then a much-panned open letter after getting left off Team USA for the Motocross of Nations. In all, Stewart took part in just three races in 2010.

Yamaha Named Official Motorcycle Of Road America

Thu, 02 May 2013

The economic downturn hit the motorcycle world particularly hard, as many factory-backed road racing efforts closed shop. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.
