This auction is for a 1976 Yamaha XT 500 Enduro.  The bike is in average condition for the year.  Bike is in running condition with new carb kit, points, and condenser.  Both front and rear tires are in good condition with new chain, front and rear sprockets. In pictures bike has a white brothers exhaust.  Bike now has stock exhaust buyer who wins the bid will also get the white brothers exhaust as well.  Bike is missing front and rear blinkers, rear tail light and front sprocket guard.  Bike has no battery, but does have clear title.   Feel free to email me with any and all questions, buyer pays all shipping charges.  For some reason, the other picture of the other side will not upload, email me and I will be happy to send the other picture to you.

Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.

Yamaha Motiv – A Car From The Tuning Fork Company

According to reports from the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha has announced preliminary plans to produce the Motiv, a lightweight, two-seater similar to a Smart car. The Motiv is apparently based on Gordon Murray Design‘s T25 and T27 concept cars and will apparently use Murray’s iStream assembly process. Sources say the vehicle is targeted for the European market and will be available in both electric as well as fossil fuel versions.
