Just hit its 40 year mark with just under 3200 original miles I bought the bike last year and was told it hadn't ran in 15 years. I cleaned the carbs, changed the oil and put new gas in the bike when I got it home. It started 2nd kick, also has electric start that works also. The bike looks to be all stock, original form. I have put 62 miles on the bike since I've owned it. All in all its a beautiful bike with very low miles. I doubt you'll see very many in this condition with this low of miles.Low Reserve Price! 2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
