Vintage 1976 Yamaha XS650C
Ready to go with annual Pennsylvania safety inspection by state certified mechanic (good through July 2017) This bike is original. There is one small ding in the left side of the tank (see pictures) The ding is covered with epoxy. The bike has been garage kept, and has less than 10K miles. Kick start or electric start (both work) You will have a difficult time finding a nicer example in this excellent condition. Bike is subject to local sale. Mileage is 9,201 as of this writing. Buyer will get new tires and tubes. Likely to be installed by 7/16. Deposit of $300 required through PayPal Balance due at pick up. I can not ship the bike, but I will cooperate with your shipper. |

Yamaha Outlines 2013-2015 Business Plan
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Yamaha Motor Co. revealed what it calls its New Medium-term Management Plan, outlining its business strategies for 2013 to 2015, including the introduction of 250 new models worldwide across its various product lines including motorcycles. The three-year plan is an extension of Yamaha‘s plan for 2010-2012 which targets a “V-shaped recovery”.
Pipewerx's new Slash Cut slip-ons
Fri, 16 Sep 2011Pipe Werx, the British performance motorcycle exhaust company, has added a new product to its range – the Slash Cut Trim. Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
