Yamaha XS description

great running and stopping classic vertical twin. Very quick and nice sound from the 2 into 1 exhaust.  Good, newer tires, fresh oil, carbs cleaned.  OH title

Issues:  push button starter works inconsistently (starter works great when it does)
            minor clanking noise from tach drive I think
            right rear signal not working
            fork seals weeping a bit - I have a new set
Can also provide front fender. I reserve right to cancel auction if this sells locally

Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018

Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.

2014 Yamaha Zuma X Announced for Canada

Yamaha Motor Canada announced a new variant of the 50cc Zuma scooter. New for 2014, the Yamaha Zuma X is based on the popular Zuma 50F but with some minor styling changes. The nomenclature is a bit curious.

David Stanton Charity Trackday Raises $75,000

The generosity of the motorcycling community shone brightly on Monday, as riders, fans, friends and enthusiasts took part in a charity track day at Sonoma Raceway hosted by 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days, raising $75,000. The charity track day was to benefit David Stanton, a Bay Area resident and long-time American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) competitor, who was paralyzed after a racing crash in June. In all, more than 400 people participated in the track day, attended the evening reception or stopped by to give Stanton their best wishes.
