2002 Yamaha Wr426f , 2002 Yamaha WR426F Dirt Bike. 4 stroke, water cooled. Excellent condition, never raced. Only 865 original miles. New, excellent condition front tire, Dunlop Geomax. Rear tire is fair condition. Front and Rear brake pads are all excellent. Chain and Sprockets are good condition. Runs great, everything works, no issues, ready to ride - only the normal cosmetic wear from riding it. I'm the second owner, bought it in 2004 with only 50 miles on it. Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha

Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
