Yamaha V Star description

Beautiful rare version of 2007 Yamaha V-star Classic 650 CC. Blacked out plastics and mirrors, great on gas mileage. Aftermarket pipes that make this one of the loudest 650's in the area. Pipes were professionially Ceramic coated ($350.00) black, in May of 2013. Bike has roughly 11,000 miles on it since I am still riding and two owners. Has essentially brand new leather travel bags, that have very little use. Green title and no leins, has never been dropped but has one dent in the left side of the gas tank, very hard to notice since it's under the emblem.  The previous owner trailered the bike and another handle bar did the dent. I will ONLY accept CASH for final payout, will NOT accept any trades. Message me with any questions, you will have to pick up the bike in Troy, Michigan.

Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

Graves Yamaha AMA Racer Injured in Scooter Accident

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

Motorcycle racers recognize they compete in a dangerous sport, risking serious harm in a crash. Of course, all riders know about the risks, whether they’re on a race track or on the street. Still it seems odd to hear Daytona Sportbike racer Cameron Beaubier broke his knee cap and injured his wrist crashing a 50cc scooter on the street.
