Yamaha V Star description

Great bike for smaller person, lady or beginner, Very dependable, runs great with added Hyper charger. Aftermarket exhaust really rumbles and all was installed by an authorized Yamaha Service center and tuned to exact specs. Includes windshield and saddlebags (not installed). Good tires and battery, starts and runs every time and good mileage with enough power for even a larger rider. Minor damage is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance.

Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights

Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.

Lorenzo, Spies Call Test a Success Despite Crashes

Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies each crashed but both riders deemed the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Malaysia a success. Lorenzo and Spies both crashed during the morning of the test but were unhurt. Despite the minor setback, both riders managed to get a lot done at the Sepang International Circuit.
