Yamaha Stratoliner description

2006 Yamaha Stratoliner s
This is one very clean bike. In near perfect condition. The only flaw is a very small ding on the tank which is hardly noticeable. The cobra longshot exhaust gives it a great sound. Comes installed with a fi2000 tuner (adjustable). Also has 2" bar risers. Tires have about 1/2 the tread left. Its been well maintained by me and the previous owner. I am selling it do to medical reasons. Happy bidding!

Hosted by King Kenny at his storied California ranch, it was an incredible opportunity to get close to the three-time world champ and other racing glitterati like Kenny Roberts Jr., Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson and renowned dirt-tracker Mert Lawwill. If those names resonate with you, it’s worth reading our story that includes a video and coverage of the Cpl.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
