Yamaha RZ500 description

Fresh out of Canada this treasure is now available in the USA. Imported and Tiltled in the state of Florida. You will not find another for sale in the US.  This bike came from an excellent home and comes with all documentation of maintenance and repairs over the years. The entire motor including the cranks were just rebuilt 360 km ago. Carbs were gone through as well. The bike starts on the first kick and runs like a beauty. This thing is fast and ready to ride!  Original Owner painted it all red and it has some blemishes and a few scratches as seen in the pictures. Cosmetics can be easily rectified and if new owner wanted new sticker kits are available. Bottom line is who will be the new owner of this amazing piece of Yamaha history?  Happy Bidding and I reserve the right to end the auction early.  Any questions feel free to ask.

KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

If you’re new to the road racing scene, you might have heard the terms “Factory” and “Privateer.” For the casual observer, you’ll notice the difference between the two ultimately comes down to money and support, as one is likely working out of the back of their van while the other is supported by an 18-wheeler. This video, shot by the Y.E.S./Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team makes the line between the two sides clear as day. Watch as the Yamaha crew rebuilds Garrett Gerloff’s R6 from the frame up after a nasty crash with enough time to make the race.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
