Yamaha Other description

Great summer fun. This bike has low miles and no problems. It goes 70 MPH easily and I have ridden it to the Bay area and Sacramento before from Stockton. It gets 50MPG and is a comfortable ride.

  • The large compartment under the seat holds two helmets, or a couple bags of groceries. This is great when you park and need to quickly store the helmets somewhere.
  • Two black bell helmets are included but one is missing one foam rubber ear cover.
  • This bike is easy to ride and does not have a clutch or gears to shift. Just turn the throttle and it goes.
  • Insurance runs about $100/year for me, and license is also about $100/year.
  • You are protected by the fairing and windshield, from bugs and road particles at high speeds Very comfortable on the road.

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

2013 Yamaha XJ6, XJ6 Diversion Updated for European Market

Thu, 30 Aug 2012

Yamaha has revealed an updated version of its XJ6 including its faired Diversion and Diversion F versions for the European market. The XJ6 models were first introduced in Europe in 2009 as the latest member of Yamaha‘s XJ series and a replacement for the FZ6 as a middleweight all-arounder. In recent years however, Yamaha Motor USA decided to keep the slightly sportier FZ6R in its lineup and pass on the XJ6 models.
