With the signing of B&W Trailer Hitches the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has committed 300 exhibitors to its inaugural event this October in Orlando, Fla. “To think that just three weeks ago we were announcing our 250th exhibitor and to now be at a point where 50 more brands have committed to the expo is absolutely remarkable,” says Larry Little, VP and GM of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. Dean Benstead's air-powered bike project, O2 Pursuit, which we spoke about a year ago, seems to have come along nicely since. Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.

Yamaha Acquires Stake in KYB’s Motorcycle Suspension Business

KYB is separating its motorcycle suspension business from its other operations, and forming a new company with Yamaha. The two companies will form a joint venture to be known as KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co., Ltd., offering motorcycle suspension components to OEMs including Yamaha. Yamaha will acquire a 33.4% stake in KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co.
