I have a Beautiful 2009 Yamaha YF-Z R1 CLEAN TITLE with a ton of mods for sale. Ive had this bike for about two years and can say its the best bike ive ever ridden. Torque everywhere, pulls wheelies like nothing, handles great for a liter bike, and sounds like a muscle car down low, but when you get up there it sounds like a moto gp bike. Cosmetically the bike is in great condition, just a few scratches and a scuff on the gas tank from the previous owner dropping it. The bike is mechanically perfect and rides like a bat out of hell. I honestly don't want to sell this thing, but this is my only form of transportation and I need a car.The bike has over 15k miles and maintenance had been done at the recommended intervals:Oil and Filter Changed every 4k miles, Chain Lubed every 500 miles, K&N Air Filter Recently Recharged, Chain Slack Within Spec, Spark Plugs Were Changed At 8k Miles, Coolant Replaced Recently With Engine Ice, Brakes Bled Within The Last Couple Months, Rear Tire Was Replaced About 3 Months Ago With A Dunlop Q3 Tire due to a puncture, Front Tire Was Replaced About A Year Ago, Battery Replaced Recently.Registration is up to date. I have the title in hand, I'am the 3rd owner. I am Asking $8200. I put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into this bike and I hope that the new owner Is as passionate about motorcycles as I am.PLEASE NO LOW BALLERS, TRADES, OR TIRE KICKERS. EICMA 2013: 2014 Yamaha MT-07 And MT-09 Street Rally
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
Lorenzo And Rossi Unveil Yamaha MotoGP 2014 Livery
Fri, 17 Jan 2014Yamaha’s official MotoGP outfit unveiled the team’s official 2014 livery in front of a packed audience in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team’s two factory riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, were on hand to proudly showcase their YZF-M1 motorcycles. As expected, blue, Yamaha’s factory color, plays a major role in the color scheme, but unlike last year where it was the dominant color, it is equally offset by contrasting white swaths on the upper fairing, fuel tank, and throughout the lower fairing.
