Yamaha Other description

2005 Yamaha Venture , 2005 Yamaha Venture , 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Venture Mechanically and Cosmetically in great condition. Minor blemishes on fairing. In early August I took it on a 1350 mile trip including to the top of Mt. Washington...without a hiccup. Tires have less than 3000 miles on them, front & rear. The bike seems to have begun its life in California, then lived in Texas for a time before the the owner prior to me brought it to Virginia. I've owned it for two years and have put well over 10,000 trouble free miles on it. I purchased the bike with all the extras listed below, except the mirrors and cup holders. The extras include: Pulsing high beam light for daytime driving. Driving lights Lizard lights lighting up the engine for cruising at bike nights. Star Touring & Riding radiator cover Custom tank bib with leather sunglass box. Custom trunk bib Trunk top luggage rack Lighted trunk rail Trailer hitch with wiring harness Harley fin type mufflers (original mufflers included) Center stand, which is usable in spite of the 800 plus weight of the bike Shorty windshield included. I'm 6'3" and the short windscreen allows too much helmet buffeting at highway speeds. Removable saddle bag liners Chrome saddle bag guards Driver highway foot pegs Driver and Passenger drink holders Standard: It of course has the built in audio system for intercom, radio, tape player, CB, plus aux. port for XM or iPod. The plush seat cushions make hours of cross country riding as comfortable a sitting on a couch. Water cooled Shaft drive Air adjusted front and rear shocks Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping... however, personal air transportation, within a few hundred miles, to pick up the bike can be arranged for the cost of fuel. $7,500.00 $7,500.00

Recreate Rossi’s Corkscrew Pass on Stoner at Laguna Seca with Paper

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

Valentino Rossi‘s career is full of many incredible moments but few are as indelible as the move he made to pass Casey Stoner on the 23rd lap of the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).

Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.
