I am selling my 2004 Yamaha Zuma 50cc Scooter. Runs and rides well. All lamps, controls, etc. work properly. It has around 5,600 mis on it. Scooter has a 50cc, air-cooled, 2-stroke engine with oil injection so no need to mix fuel just add oil to reservoir. Top speed of 38 mph. New rear tire, good front tire. New battery. Cosmetically, the scooter is in decent shape, it has some scratches here and there but looks good overall. Comes with an HJC helmet, 3 keys, and bill of sale. Recently (7/10/13) serviced with the following:-New battery-New rear tire-Set tire pressures-Adjusted and lubed cables-Adjusted brakes-Changed rear drive oil-Cleaned air filterEmail or call/text James at with any questions. As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Intermot 2012: Yamaha Unveils Crossplane Triple Concept

Yamaha announced it is developing a new three-cylinder engine using a crossplane crankshaft inherited from the company’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike and its YZF-R1 sportbike. Yamaha says the new Triple will play an important role in the company’s future. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled a concept sculpture with the new three-cylinder engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
