Super fast bike, kept up with my eight R1 with full scorpion exhaust. brand new $160 performance chain, $600 adjustable lowering shock (lowered 2 ins), new rear tire, new battery, new spark plugs, new clutch, bored over .040", bigger jets, ext. Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
