Garage kept, well maintained, Yamaha Riva 200cc. It has a custom built sidecar. All lights work. new tires within the last 500 miles. It rides out very smooth. The more weight in the side car, the better it rides. The man is 5' 8" and woman is 5' 4". The scooter goes 55 mph with rider in the sidecar. Without the sidecar it will go up to 75 mph with a 200lb. driver. It is a very versatile set up. Its been lots of fun, but I'm moving and won't have room for it at my next place. Fri, 19 Jul 2013Prior to arriving at Laguna Seca for this weekend’s MotoGP race, nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi made a stop at Yamaha’s U.S. headquarters in Southern California for a meet-and-greet with his fans, and we were there to see The Doctor, along with Tech 3 Yamaha stablemate Bradley Smith, in person. As part of the trip, fans had a chance to participate in a Q&A session with the champ, where Rossi picked 12 questions at random.
2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 Recalled for Fuel Pump Problem
Tue, 12 Feb 2013Yamaha is initiating a recall on the 2009 Zuma 125 scooter due to an issue with its fuel pump. The recall campaign affects 8,700 units produced between July 2008 and April 2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there may not be the proper clearance in internal fuel pump components, potentially causing an inadequate supply of fuel.
