Up for sale is a "Rare"Yamaha 650 Turbo XJ650LJ. As you can see form the photos it in beautiful condition. Not perfect but i believe an 8.5 out of 10. 2,500 actual miles on it. I just had the carbs gone thru, a tune up and new tires installed. When this bike was new the owner had a turbo controller installed. Its in one of the photos. It allows you to adjust the amount of boost you want, when you want it. at the time i was told it costs around $2,000 dollars. When the turbo kicks in it produces about 90 hp. Everything on this bike works as it should. Its pretty cold blooded but runs great. There is some light pitting on the pipes but not really that noticeable. The fiberglass faring has no cracks, the windshield has some real light scratches but in no way affects your vision. I have explained the condition as best as i can. Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas
Fri, 04 Jan 2013AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 Color and Graphic Options Announced
Thu, 13 Sep 2012Those of you hoping for an updated Yamaha YZF-R6 will have to wait for at least another year, as Yamaha announced the 599cc sportbike is returning for 2013 unchanged except for new colors and graphics. Yamaha last updated the R6 in 2008, equipping it with the company’s Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-T) variable-length intake system. The lack of any significant updates to the 2013 R6 must be disappointing to Yamaha fans, especially as the color updates were announced the same day Kawasaki is expected to reveal a new 636cc ZX-6R.
