Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
2012 Yamaha FZ6R, Yamaha FZ6 - Somewhere between cruisers and supersport bikes exists a genre simply known as "sports" bikes. The FZ6R fits perfectly into the less intense sport bike world with its easy to control power, light weight and low seat height. A slim compact chassis complements the fuel injected engine and its very linear throttle control. No lap records here, just a bike that inspires rider confidence and is a blast to ride.

The perfect classified advert
Fri, 21 Jun 2013Forget “One careful owner, low mileage, full service history” – when it comes to penning classifieds we can all learn from Kyle Miller and Joe Strachila who’ve plundered their marketing genius to come up with the best scooter advert we’ve ever seen. The pair, from Seattle, became an internet sensation last year when they created a hyperbole-packed ad for $700-worth of frankly rubbish 1995 Pontiac Grand-Am. Now they’ve pulled the same trick to get rid of a Y2K Yamaha SH50 (the comically-named ‘Razz’), advertising it on Cragslist as “the fulfilment of your wildest fantasies”.
Max Biaggi loses the plot . . and very nearly his teeth !
Tue, 29 Mar 2011I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.
Supe up the Super Ténéré
Mon, 20 Sep 2010Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.
