This MGM Midnite Movies release features one of Roger Corman's greatest Edgar Allan Poe film adaptations: THE PIT AND THE  PENDULUM (1961). Vincent Price gives a great performance as the crazy son of a notorious Spanish inquisitor and whose wife has died under mysterious circumstances. When her brother arrives to investigate, it turns out that the adulterous woman faked her own death, driving Price to resort to his father's favorite torture techniques. The great cast includes John Kerr, Barbara Steele, Luana Anders, and Anthony Carbone.  Special Features: Original Theatrical Trailer, commentary by Corman rare prologue, English and French audio and subtitles, and Spanish subtitles. This is a new and sealed original US region 1 DVD in widescreen format. It comes from a non-smoking home. Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million

  A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
