650cc
2 Cylinder Opposed
13115 km / 8150 miles

This always-garaged Ural has been babied and comes fully loaded, complete with sidecar and second seat, jerrycan with funnel, CB radio, roomy trunk, spare tire, luggage rack, leather document storage, USB phone charger, tools, custom sidecar cover, sidecar seatbelt, custom seat covers, emergency tool set, tire handpump, owners manual, kick and push-button start, and sidecar  headlight. Currently has knobby tires with lots of life still, as well as 3 additional tires (2 road 1 dirt).

3rd owner
All maintenance performed on schedule.

Freshly installed new alternator (alternator is new factory Ural part: Nippon-Denso alternator with Russian gear-drive nose) and new battery, and recently had new air filters and an oil/filter change.

If you are unfamilliar with the brand Ural, they're bassically Russian copies of WWII-era BMWs.

This 3-wheeled dirt devil will brighten any day and turn any errand into vacation.  It turns heads, twitterpates hearts, and offers a lot of style without a large pricetag.  With the 650cc engine, it's not the fastest thing on the road, but with the style and enjoyment it offers, why would you be that anxious to get where you're going?  The 3 wheels offer a lot more stability and make cruising a joy.

Your child or significant other will prefer the sidecar to the back (my wife says it's WAY more comfortable, and she loves being able to look forward as well as side to side, and having free hands).  Plus, the two up seat allows for 3 total riders.  The trunk also allows for a lot more storage than your typical motorcylce, without having to add bulky saddlebags.  My wife loves being able to throw her purse in and go, or run to the grocery store on her way home from work, without having to think about space and security (personally, I love the soundof the bullet-style exhaust).

The paint shows a little wear in a few places (see jerrycan photos), but this patina is in keeping with the bike's vintage feel and adds to the authentic charm of the bike.  The only other cosmetic issue is the left side mirror which started coming lose on a ride and I had to tape in place.  I forgot about it and never went back to replace the mirror bracket.

Please only bid if you are serious about purchasing. If you have "0" feedback, please message me first.  Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping within 30 days of auction. Thanks and goodluck!

Keep your bike close to you when you go camping with the MOTOTENT from motorcycle adventurers Lone Rider. Priced at £450, here's a round-up of the features from Lone Rider: The MOTOTENT is spacious enough to shelter a dual sport bike as big a BMW R1200 GSA with all its luggage, to have room to work on it, and to be able to stand in the tent. The tunnel-shaped design allows a very quick setup of the tent when needed.

Ural Sales Increase 39 Percent In 2011

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

Ural, the funky motorcycle sidecar manufacturer from Russia, is boasting a 39% increase in unit sales for 2011. Considering the company’s total expected output for last year was approximately 1,100 models, you won’t notice an influx of sidehacks dominating your local roadways, but this is really good news for the small manufacturer of eclectic two-wheelers, especially in the midst of a deficient economy. Ural recognized an article in the New York Times and a collaboration with bike builder James Hammarhead for some of the company’s increasing popularity.
