2011 Triumph Thunderbird. Just under 1600cc. This bike was the 2010 and 2011 cruiser of the year. Harley's are a dime a dozen. Get a real classic. I bought this bike new in Oct. of 2011 to go on a cross country bike ride with my then, 76 yr. old buddy. Bike has a custom Russell "All Day" seat. Great bike in very good condition. But slimming down the 955i Daytona by losing its original one-sided swingarm, and other weight-saving measures, sometimes seemed more like cost-cutting ones. And maybe Triumph sensed the imminent demise of the superbike a bit earlier than some others.

Tue, 05 Nov 2013As we expected after reading California Air Resource Board documents, Triumph revealed a new LT version to its Thunderbird family, alongside the also-new Thunderbird Commander at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage The 2014 Triumph Thunderbird LT adds a windscreen, additional lighting, removable leather saddlebags and a passenger backrest to the Thunderbird platform to provide light touring duties. The ergonomics are also different, with a new seat design that offers more lumbar support.

Fri, 17 Jun 2011Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.
