Triumph THRUXTON description

This bike is simply beautiful. The Brooklands Green with the gold stripe is killer. The best part, it starts right up without any problems. This is a great bike for a great deal. First to come with cold cash gets it.

Anyways. The bike has little scratch on the right OEM muffler and right mirror. This is barely noticeable and not a big deal at all. It does have a salvage title but that is due to a theft recovery as the bike is all stock and nothing has been replaced. The CarFax does not show it as salvage title but shows that the insurance paid it out. I bought the bike from a police auction (prolly because of prior theft).

Motorcycle Freestyle Rider Ernie Vigil Puts Triumph’s Scrambler Through The Wringer [Video]

With its on/off-road tires, spoke wheels, high rise dual exhaust, protective fork gators and flat one-piece seat and handlebar, Triumph’s Scrambler evokes notions of a McQueen-esque go anywhere, do anything machine in a modern motorcycle. It’s probably safe to assume few Scrambler owners today put their retrofied rides to the test, seeing just how much abuse the 865cc parallel-Twin-powered Scrambler can take. However, in this Triumph North America video, freestyle rider Ernie Vigil (the video’s editor and co-creator) does what most Scrambler owners wish they were capable of with their new/old Trumpet.

It's being put together by a small team of people headed by former MCN editor and lifelong fan of British engineering, Jim Lindsay. One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
