The heart of the Street Triple is the throbbing 675cc triple, delivering 106PS and 68Nm of torque. It???s so good you???ll have trouble believing its only 675cc. The show happens to be round the corner from me so event sponsors MCE Insurance kindly sent me some passes so I could have a look around. Apart from the usual trade stands and crazy arena antics one of the highlights was the national lawn mower racing championship.

If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed". But is any Triumph single ever capable of producing a sensation of tranquility, even when it is 'right'? I suspect not...
Triumph’s 500,000th Production Motorcycle Headed to Auction on July 1st
Thu, 16 Jun 2011It was less than a month ago that Triumph’s 500,000th production motorcycle, a special Speed Triple with commemorative paint job, rolled off the line. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will put the special Trumpet on the auction block on July 1, 2011, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Comedian Ross Noble has completed his Sit Down Tour of Great Britain with the milestone Triumph, and now the bike is ready to raise money for Riders for Health charity.
