The 955i is the most powerful motor i've ridden and i love it! i've had 3 triumphs (speed triples and sprint rs). powder coated engine is fantastic for all weather conditions. i can't say enough about the handling and positioning of this bike. it is equally comfortable carving up curvy roads as it is on long highway trips. the saddle is tall. i'm 5'10" and i can stand flat footed at the bottom of the seat but not at the top of the seat. i mostly ride toward the top on highway and bottom around town so it works well for me. i am including a heated vest and an OEM aftermarket carbon fiber pipe with this auction. some minor stuff - rub mark on left tank by the knee, small chip in paint (pictures), stock pipe is scratched, right bar-end mirror scratched. bike has never been dropped or in an accident. it could use a good cleaning but overall condition is excellent. i bought the bike with the carbon fiber exhaust but i don't like loud pipes so i bought the stock pipe on ebay. there is a hepco-becker top box and luggage rack attached - top box is easily removed. the box has some damage because it fell off the bike once (user error). other aftermarket parts include fly screen and rear tire hugger. tank bag not included. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.

Fri, 12 Apr 2013Freedom Friday is a call-to-action on the AMA’s Facebook page each Friday to alert motorcyclists about issues posing threats to motorcycling freedoms. Riders can partake in a weekly contest related to these issues and win prizes. Each week’s Freedom Friday photo contest asks AMA members to send a photo of themselves, preferably with their bike, near a symbol of the current topic. The issue that kicks off today is access discrimination, which can be illustrated with a photo of a “No Motorcycles Allowed” sign, “Wilderness” sign or anything related to freedom to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.

Tue, 30 Sep 2014The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
