1948 Triumph 5T Speed Twin 500cc - Up for sale is my 1948 post war pre unit bike.  Clear Az title.  Great condition with a recent restoration by prior owner.  Engine and transmission rebuilt and some components painted. This has been on display in my living room since i have owned it.  I recently took it out for run & ride and am very impressed with it's operation and sound!  I work mostly with old Honda's and after running this and riding it, i understand the love people have with Triumph!  Unbelievable sound and pure enjoyment to ride!  There are a few paint nicks on front fender and rear fender that appear to have been caused by shipping at some point after more recent paint.  Tried to show in close ups of fenders.  Hagerty Valuations: Concours $20k, Excellent $16k, Good 12k, and Fair 8K.   This bike is better than Good condition considering resto and engine/trans work.  It runs excellent.  Will need $1000 PayPal upon winning auction.  Balance by wire within 3 days.  Free local examination and pick up in Scottsdale Az..  Buyer to arrange shipping if needed.  Will assist with shipping/drop off to your carrier but will not pack/crate it.  May deliver near to AZ for consideration.  Have a look at the pics and ask if there is a question. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

2014 Triumph Bonneville, Bonnevile T100, Thruxton and Scrambler Receive Minor Updates

Triumph has updated its modern classics lineup for 2014 with minor styling updates for the Bonneville, Thruxton and Scrambler. Otherwise, all three models return unchanged mechanically with some new colors (the colors listed below were announced for the U.K. market; Triumph may have different options for the U.S.) The 2014 Triumph Bonneville receives a new pillion grab rail and a new vinyl seat with improved filler material to improve rider comfort.

2012 Triumph Daytona 675, 675R Recalled in Canada for Missing Throttle Cable Guide

Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R because certain units may be missing a throttle cable guide. Without the guide, the throttle cable may get stuck in the steering stop, preventing the throttle from opening or closing properly. Such a situation could result in a loss of propulsion or, if the throttle is stuck open, could make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.
