Triumph Other description
This Triumph is in "as found" condition. I haven't cleaned it, I haven't really touched it except to add the kicker and make sure it turns over. The bike appears to have been modified for flat track use, but the bike is mostly original and everything on the bike appears to be in terrific condition and it's hard to believe that the bike was ever abused. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

But slimming down the 955i Daytona by losing its original one-sided swingarm, and other weight-saving measures, sometimes seemed more like cost-cutting ones. And maybe Triumph sensed the imminent demise of the superbike a bit earlier than some others.
