Triumph Daytona description

2007 Triumph Daytona 675, For the sport minded rider who likes the idea of exclusivity, the 675 meets the criteria while most importantly retaining proven technology. The desirable red paint throughout this example is in excellent condition without major flaws and there is no evidence it has ever seen pavement. A Triumph triple is unlike the average inline four because the engine makes power all throughout the range, not just in the top end. This not only allows you to keep the RPM s lower, but makes the bike pull out of corners with authority leaving others in its class behind. The close ratio gear box is definitely one of the best in the biz and in combination with a seemingly endless power-band, you seldom ever find yourself in a wrong gear. Steering is very crisp and sharp; simply point your head in the direction you want to go and the bike is already one step ahead of you beginning the turn. It comes pre-equipped both standard and accessory wise with front & rear stainless braided brake lines, frame sliders, tail tidy, comfortable seat and an exhaust system producing the sound you want to hear. Come take a test ride if the thought of owning a bike your friends don t have sounds intriguing.

Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.

COLOURED PAINT must be thin on the ground at Triumph: the company's latest incarnation of their gargantuan Rocket 3 will only available in black when it's released early next year. And there's more torque, too: 165ft-lbs to be precise - up 15 per cent on last year. Triumph also say the new bike will offer "A completely different riding experience from its predecessor."
