Triumph Bonneville description

Hi Guys! For sale is my Triumph Bonneville, its is a steal at this price! This is one of the last years these were actually MADE IN BRITAIN, a true modern classic. 790cc with a clean title. Don't be fooled, there are many differences between the original modern classics and the new ones that are made in Taiwan.  Mine includes metal front fender (new ones are plastic), bolted on Triumph badge (most new ones are painted) sleeker gas tank (new ones are bigger and pear shaped), carbs (vs fuel injected) etc. Many upgrades including drilled high performance front rotor, new pads, low profile Emgo mirrors, carbs jetted, custom de baffled pea shooter exhaust, K&N intake, air injection removed, 100% leather handmade saddle bags, king and queen seat, billy bars (highway bars), oil pressure gauge, brand new rear tire, tachometer, custom chrome trim, Sissy bar with luggage rack and more. Ive tried to keep it a stealth bike, so cosmetically it looks close to stock, but its 10x better functionally. Great condition, starts up every time, ready to ride this season! I added the Tachometer a couple years ago and it is the only thing that may need to be fiddled with, or just a new gauge ($20) put in. Always garage kept under a cover, just check out the photos. 21k, asking $3,999 or best reasonable offer! I will include a cover, and a service book, as well as any spare parts I may have kicking around. This baby GROWLS with the custom exhaust setup! The pea shooter chamber gives it a really nice full smooth tone, without being obnoxious. Thanks and best of luck

2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster [video]

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

Over the past few model years Triumph strove to create some sense of how the Rocket can be used, eventually creating a touring-friendly model with windscreen and saddlebags as standard, called the Rocket III Touring. Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.

Craig Vetter Grand Marshall for 2012 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Tue, 22 May 2012

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and noted designer Craig Vetter — whose contributions to motorcycling range from the iconic Windjammer fairings and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane to the Mystery Ship limited-production high-performance motorcycles and a number of high-profile motorcycle fuel-economy contests — will be honored as this year’s grand marshal at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days featuring Rockers and Mods, July 20-22, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Vetter has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a designer since 1965, and his varied background gives him a unique alliance to both the Rockers and Mods motorcycle subcultures. His design projects over the years have involved café racers — the motorcycles of choice for Rockers — and scooters, which are favored by Mods.
