It has clean carbs, good brakes, electronic ignition 1- 2 kicks and has been run on Non Ethanol gas. all gauges work, lights work, brakes work. Has dull paint but might wax to a shine. Has modified air filters and exhaust ( for a little boost in power) A fun, quick bike. located in SW New Hampshire. Shipping arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
Not a fake police biker
Fri, 03 Aug 2012So yesterday I was threading my way through London on Triumph's Tiger Explorer 1200 with panniers. Quite a wide load. Up ahead, I see a police biker and reckon on him being able to part the traffic enough for me to have an easier run down by the river.
