Triumph Bonneville description

You are looking at a 1967 Triumph Bonneville T120R. This is a numbers matching bike. She has been sitting in California since the early 1990's. Has newer fork rubbers, and newer front tire and tube. Tank and side covers are still in good shape, minus paint bubbling around the petcock. She is missing the battery tray, and has been rewired with a Sparx battery eliminator, which does work and gives the bike spark but will not power the lights. She is a project bike that I never got around too and I have not tried starting her, I just checked for spark. The engine does kick over and has good compression. I do not know the true nature of the trans or engine. The only paper work that comes with the bike is a California transferable registration that matches the motorcycle. I provided pictures of the paper work in the listing. I am going to let my slideshow and pictures do the talking. But please if you have any questions or concerns, ask before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.  Please check out the 62 picture slideshow I provided in the listing . I am selling this one at a NO RESERVE starting at one dollar, so don't miss out.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like.  All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. She can sit here for as long as you need,  but the bike will still have to be paid for in full within the 7 days. Please watch the video fully,  look at all of the pictures, including the slideshow and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.  Thank you and happy bidding!

To answer some questions this bike is not a factory all original T120R. It was also brought to my attention that the engine may not be the factory original engine since it has the security Triumph logos stamped on the engine casing, which apparently didn't start till 1969, and may be a re-stamped engine block. Please do your own research before bidding.

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
