Suzuki SV description

Project, partially disassembled and in need of parts to finish, comes with a lot of extra parts!

I have a 2003 SV650S faired model in the silver and silver that is mostly together. It has 2008 GSX-R 750 forks on it (needs to have the '04/5 upper triple milled to fit the larger steerer to get steering lock back), 2011 GSXR 600/750 Brembo monoblock calipers, it also has a custom GSR600 swingarm swap that just looks oh so right, early cams (I did this so you might want to double check the instal), PAIR has been removed, a modified stock intake & a custom carbon plate and velocity stack intake, italian brake/clutch lever goodies, I started on a hydraulic clutch conversion, and more. Comes with two sets of wheels, 04/5 GSXR 600/750 wheels w/ Rotor rotors on the front and a set of 08 GSXR750 wheels to swap in. The rear wheel needs new spacers milled to match the offset of the 04/5 rear wheel for the swap. It also has a Penske rear adjustable shock rebuilt by TWF.

It comes with a bunch of assorted parts, not everything I have but a good amount. It also has the stock subframe but I had planned on getting a custom one made. and some of the stock body work.

This has been my project for nearly 10 years on and off again. It's been "finished" multiple times only to go back under the knife again. sometimes you have to pick and choose your projects, my loss is your gain, get a crazy project and one of the raddest SV's ever!

I can't remember the exact mileage, but it's pretty low as it's spent most of it's life as a project. Second owner, originally a california bike.

Thanks for looking, more pics if someone is actually interested. This is a non-running project, but it could be amazing and it's worth it just to part it out, I just can't bring myself to do it haha.

Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return

Fri, 18 Nov 2011

As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
