1999 SUZUKI JR 50 NEEDS MINOR TLC BUT RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. CHAIN NEEDS TO BE TIGHTENED, THERE IS A SLIGHT WOBBLE ON THE REAR TIRE, CARBURETOR WILL NEED A FINAL CLEANING TO BE PERFECT, ITS MISSING THE CHOKE LEVER BUT YOU CAN STILL PULL IT BY HAND. MOTOR IS SOLID , TOP END AND TRANSMISSION ARE FINE. WITH A FEW MINOR REPAIRS YOU CAN HAVE IT READY FOR CHRISTMAS! IT DOES HAVE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR BUT ITS STILL A GOOD SOLID BIKE FOR ITS YEAR. WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.

Suzuki Contributes to Philippines Typhoon Relief Efforts

Suzuki announced it will donate ¥7 million (US$70,013) in aid to help those in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Suzuki joins Honda and Yamaha which have both previously pledged aid to the Philippines. The latest numbers have raised the death toll to 3,951 people, with another 1,598 still unaccounted for, and another 4 million displaced from their homes.

Yoshimura Offering Limited Edition Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes

Yoshimura made a name for itself tuning championship-winning Suzuki racebikes, but for the first time, the company is producing a run of limited edition Gixxers for the public. Yoshimura R&D of America is offering a number of 2011 and 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600s, GSX-R750s and GSX-R1000s equipped with a host of upgrades. Each individually numbered GSX-R comes equipped with EPA- and CARB-compliant Yoshimura R-77 carbon fiber slip-ons and a number of aluminum CNC machined components.
