Up for auction with no reserve is a almost new sidecar currently fitted to a 2005 DL 1000 V-Strom. NOTE THE BIKE IS NOT FOR SALE JUST THE SIDECAR RIG. The sidecar was professionally built by Sweet Sidecars in South Carolina in 2016. Due to the fact that I have another sidecar rig, this has seen very little use (perhaps 200 miles or so) and is in perfect condition. The body is made of fiberglass and comes with two screens of different heights depending on your preference. There is storage room in the rear, accessible by unfastening and tilting the seat, and also comes with a tonneau cover for protection. The rig is totally bolt on and does not require any permanent modification to the bike other than removing the centerstand. If sold I will remove the rig from the bike so that it is ready for collection. I will be happy to answer any reasonable questions, the rig is in Raleigh NC. Buyer will need to arrange pick up or shipping. NOTE ALSO: I will not be available between 12/16 and 12/29 so pick up will be limited to before or after then.

The defending champion Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) have had a rough season this year, with exactly zero victories to its name. However, at the season finale LeMans 24-hour race, the team turned their fortunes around. As an added bonus, the Suzuki Junior Team also won the championship in its class. Suzuki unveiled a new lightweight naked standard motorcycle at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) – the GW250. Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke had a chance to ride the newest Suzuki and will be providing a review in the coming days.

2011 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion Danny Eslick

Danny Eslick won his second career AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, adding another #1 plate to the one he won in 2009. The Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki GSX-R600 rider won three races this season and added another five podium finishes to win the title by a 275-256 margin over Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin. Eslick clinched the title after finishing sixth in the first race of the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
