Suzuki TU250X Returns for 2015 – But Still Not for California

Suzuki kicked off its 2015 model year announcements with the return of the retro-styled small-displacement TU250X. Introduced to the North American market in 2009, the TU250X will arrive in U.S. dealerships later this month.

Along with the launch of the new RM-Z450, Suzuki announced the return of the RM-Z250 and RM85 for 2015. Both smaller motocrossers return unchanged, though the slightly larger RM85L variant was not announced for the new model year. The 2015 Suzuki RM-Z250 retains the same 249cc liquid-cooled Single as the 2014 model including the swappable EFI couplers for selecting richer or leaner fueling.

Suzuki Reports Q2 2013-2014 Sales Results

Suzuki reported a 22.9% increase in net sales from motorcycles for the six month period ended Sept. 30, 2013, despite a 10.3% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the same period. According to Suzuki’s second quarter financial report, the Japanese manufacturer sold 1.056 million motorcycles in the first half of the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
