Up for bid: 2007 Suzuki gz250...very clean, no rust, always stored indoors. Runs well, low mileage, great learner or commuter bike. We've only put 410 miles on it since it was purchased two years ago. Tires are in great condition (410 miles on those too), no known issues, not getting ridden and need space for a project bike. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court has approved American Suzuki‘s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, allowing the company to begin its restructuring. As announced last November, Suzuki is getting out of the automobile business in the U.S.

Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s  Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Over the weekend, an aged Japanese racer reacquainted himself with one of his early loves. Celebrating 50 years of Suzuki racing, Mitsuo Ito took his former flame, the RM63, for a trip down memory lane and a lap around the Motegi circuit. The miniscule 50cc race bike was born from the legend of MZ employee Ernst Degner's defection from East Germany to Japan during the early days of the Cold War.
