2008 Suzuki Gsx-R1000 , Up for sale is a used 08 Suzuki GSXR-1000. I am the second owner of this bike. it currently has 9182 miles on it. It has very low miles for an 08. The bike has never been wrecked or downed. The body is in immaculate condition. It is very hard to find a bike in that kind of condition. The bike is valued at a little over $9500 according to NADA with the condition its in. I am taking REASONABLE OFFERS. NO LOW BALLERS PLEASE and ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES. no need for that. It has simple upgrades to it. Nothing crazy. It has an M4 slip on exhaust, K&N drop-in filter, 6000k HID, front LED parking light, chrome frame sliders, swing arm spools, a Taylor Made carbon fiber fender eliminator kit with LED, black tank pad, and a custom wrapped seat to match the paint. The rear tire is new. The front tire will need to be replaced soon. The bike is lowered 2 Inches in the rear. I will also include the rear jack stand. Japan Needs Your Help

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Ben Spies Retires from Motorcycle Racing

Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
