For sale is 2006 GSXR 1000, low miles, well maintained, very clean,
adult owned, mechanic owned/maintained. Comes with front and rear stands
for compact storage. Modifications include, clear double bubble wind
screen, cnc shorty adjustable levers, clip on risers 1.5" for more
comfortable riding position with the passenger. Frame sliders, clip on
weighted bar ends for vibration reduction and comfort. 520 chain kit
with one tooth smaller front sprocket and one tooth larger rear
sprocket. Delkevic slip on exhaust, BMC drop in high flow air filter.
Deleted exhaust valve and secondary throttle body butterflies. SS braided brake lines. Will include original levers, and clip on's as well as the rear seat cover cowling. This
bike has never been down, all of the decals removed for clean look, and
black wheels pinstriped red. This bike is extremely fast, so i wouldn't advice buying this bike if you are a beginner. This is my second 2006 GSXR 1000 that Ive owned and I absolutely love them, but I have started school and need to let some of my beloved toys go. Electric Motorcycle Conversion
Fri, 30 Jan 2009Donald and Andrew Higginbotham, are a father and son team that converted a Suzuki RF900 into an electric motorcycle at their home over the course of three months worth of Saturdays. It ended up costing about $3,000 to complete with parts from Electric Motorsport. The bike gets about 35 miles per charge at a maximum speed of 55mph.
