Suzuki GSX-R description

2004 SUZUKI GSX-R1000, Even thought a bull's-eye is clearly painted on the Gixxer, Suzuki has proven to be incredibly adept at extracting the maximum out of its GSX-R series. The competition is hard-pressed to achieve similar performance numbers. On the dyno, the Gixxer's motor bested all but one of its rivals when considering production of both horsepower and torque. This adult-owned GSX-R1000 is super-clean and it runs as good as it looks. The previous owner has equipped it with chromed wheels, Yoshimura TRS exhaust, fender eliminator, smoked wind screen, Harris' GSXR grips, custom levers, Vortex sliders, LED signals, tank protector, swingarm spools and Ryder 'Shift Sock'. Come and check out this sweet Gixxer before it's too late!

Suzuki to Trim US Powersports Dealership Network

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

When American Suzuki announced it was shutting down its automobile business, the company said it intended to focus on its powersports operations. It comes as a surprise then to some dealers that Suzuki is not renewing all of its dealership agreements. According to DealerNews, dealerships received letters this week from American Suzuki notifying them whether their franchise agreements would be renewed with the newly formed Suzuki Motor America.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
