Suzuki GS description

1982 SUZUKI GLZ850 MAROON IN AMAZING CONDITION AND ORIGINAL NOT RESTORED! (except tires)

A beautiful bike I've had in my collection for a few years! This bike has been meticulously maintained for years, never ridden in moisture, has been in vacuum storage when not being used during the winter. It has only been ridden very short distances during its life hence the low milage! Mechanically the bike is fantastic, electrically its fully working and ready to ride immediately!! It has been inspected recently in RI, and is good through 2017.

You will never see a more perfect GL online anywhere, although to make it completely showroom there is a couple of areas that could be addressed. Please look at the images carefully before asking too many questions.

Heres what I've noticed. The rear calipers do you some slight corrosion around the bleed valves which has taken some of the paint away from the caliper. There is a couple of very very small rust spots on the frame under the seat. The tires are not original, so I replaced them with Dunlop Elites with RWL.

The paint work is flawless, there is no dings, dents scratches or rust in or on the tank. The chrome is beautiful with no visible issues. This really is a truly unique bike! It comes with a new battery

It has the original title, I am the second owner and I have the current registration in my name (Motorcycles in RI don't require titles for ownership after a certain age, hence the Registration) it also comes with the original owners manual, keys, crate instructions and original tool set and promotional canvas poster.

This will be for pickup or shipping at your own expense, I can accept a deposit through paypal, but full payment must be by cash or cashiers check. There are no warranties or returns, the purchase is at your own risk. Please any questions feel free to mail me. I will be attaching a video of the bike in the next couple of days so stay tuned!

Just a quick addition, the bike does not leak oil, and never has...the spots on the ground are just dirt marks from cleaning my car calipers! Not oil from the bike...

Suzuki Pushes MotoGP Return Back to 2015

Mon, 17 Jun 2013

The good news is Suzuki revealed the first official images of its new MotoGP prototype racer. The bad news is the Japanese manufacturer announced it is delaying its MotoGP return for another year, now targeting a comeback for the 2015 season. When Suzuki first announced its withdrawal from the MotoGP championship in 2011, the plan was to return for the 2014 season.
