This is a beautiful original 1978 Suzuki GS 1000E, VIN # GS1000 510580, Eng # S1000 117084,17,550 miles. Bike has been kept original except for the addition of the case savers. New tires, 70 miles on fork reseal, recent battery. Have owned this bike since 1980, am second owner, always garaged since new. Excellent condition, runs great. More photos and info on request.
Runs Perfectly. This bike is near perfect but feel free to ask any questions before bidding. There is a little of the clear coming off a case cover on the engine and there is a slight cracking of the white tape that is on the fuel tank. Other than that (and you might not have even noticed that) the bike is a 10. Call 715-572-9464 with any questions.

This bike is being relisted because I closed the auction early last time. The high bidder was from Australia and I had no prior contact with him to discuss how he was going to get it there and what I was going to be required to do. Mon, 23 Sep 2013The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.
John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
