This Guzzi is in very goo shape. has had the folloing done in the last 500 miles,engine oil and filter changed,trans lube,rear drivelube with molly,brake fluid changed. Heads torqued,valves adjusted. Do not have the original seat,has corbin. Iam third owner. onley things not original besides seat are the carbrator jets, needles, slides,as I went with world jetting per Guzziolygy book. Ewan McGregor Donates Bike to Charity

Actor Ewan McGregor has introduced traveling long distances on motorcycles to the mainstream with the “Long Way Down” series. He is now trying to give UNICEF just as much exposure by donating one of his prized motorcycles to help raise money for the charity. “I’m donating my Moto Guzzi California motorcycle,” says McGregor, a UNICEF ambassador.

Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
