Up for sale is a numbers matching 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport with 36,244 miles. The build date is Dec 1972, its a Series 2 with "4" stamped on transmission. The gear shift lever is on the right side and the front brake is twin shoe drum, so it is a very early V7 Sport. VIN # VK32365. The paint on the tank, tool boxes, and frame is original. Rubber grips, foot rests and chrome plating are original. Also comes with original cloth bag tool kit with tools and owners manual. The only non original parts are recovered seat, Valeo starter, horns, electronic ignition and K&N filters replacing the filter box. There is small weld on the frame. The bike has always been garaged and it shows in the appearance. All electronics are in working order. Recently replaced battery. The bike is located in San Mateo, CA with a clean title, current CA registration and can be viewed in person. I am the third owner as of 31,274 miles. The second owner purchased the bike almost new, so it is essentially a two owner bike. Garage kept by me and the previous owner. Piaggio Reports Q3 2011 Results
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Piaggio announced a net profit of 46.3 million euros (US$63.3 million) over the first nine months of 2011. That represents a slight dip from the 46.7 million euros (US$63.8 million) over the same period of 2010, but still respectable numbers in the face of a shrinking market for motorcycles in Europe. The decrease in profit comes despite a 2.0% increase in net sales, with Piaggio taking in 1.20 billion euros (US$1.64 billion) over the first three quarters.
2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso, Norge, Stelvio NTX Rear Suspension Recall
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Earlier this month, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the 2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso, Norge GT 8V and Stelvio NTX 1200 8V because of a problem with their rear suspension systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has also announced recall for the U.S. market, revealing more information about the issue.

His friend and co-star in those two travelogues, Charley Boorman is a BMW brand ambassador, and it’d be easy to assume McGregor is as well. The truth is McGregor, well known for his love of motorcycles, is a much bigger fan of Moto Guzzi.
