Up for adoption, my 1985 LeMans. Just turned 20,900 miles. This bike runs very well. Recently serviced: Carbs have been rejetted New Michelin tires Brakes excellent Fairly new battery Nice seat All lights and signals work Horns work Has a very good stock exhaust Has all bodywork Fresh filter 10-60 Agip oil New trans oil New rear drive oil Heads torqued and valves reset New K&N filters New speedo and tach cable. There is a nice BUB exhaust available if the buyer wants to purchase it also. Bike can come with either wrinkle black valve covers or stock dark blue ones, not the ones shown; they go on another bike. I'm selling because (mostly "cause I'm a geezer") it is more difficult for me to ride it and enjoy. The bike is in RI, you're welcome to come see the bike. “The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results
Mon, 06 May 2013The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.
