Moto Guzzi Eldorado description

1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850

This is a very nice Moto Guzzi Eldorado . Fully equipped with a fairing, saddlebags and trunk. Everything works as it should and is very dependable. Matching frame and engine numbers ( engine number VP 056073 ). The engine starts right up and runs very smooth. . This bike has plenty of power , rated at 64 horse power. The seat is very comfortable, I believe it may have been recovered some time ago. There is a couple of small pin holes and a small 1/2" "L" shaped cut in it,nothing to really concern yourself with. The red saddlebag lights are not wired, I basically use them for side reflectors. All the other lights work as they should Hi/Low headlight ,turn signals and brake. The Hi/Low headlight switch lever has been broke off however there is enough left of it you can still flip the lever to operate. The engine uses no oil and there is no oil leaks. As far as the engine it is quiet and smooth.  I have performed the following services. Engine oil change ( Mobil 1 V-Twin synthetic ) Valves adjusted and new valve cover gaskets installed.Transmission and rear end lube changed recently. The generator belt is new and adjusted correctly. New rear tire, front is great shape. Front and rear brake shoes are like new with no wear. Wheel bearings greased and in good condition. Speedometer works decent. The Tachometer works however it may be inaccurate. Please note, the original air box has been replaced with two foam air filter elements. This is a nice rider and works well. I wouldnt be afraid to ride anywhere with this bike. It was made for touring and it does that well. I get a lot of attention everywhere I go with it.  I have a clear title in my name.
Thanks for looking. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
