This is a 1996 Moto Guzzi California 1100.  It is fuel injected and runs great.  It was titled in 1997 but manufactured in 1996.  It is not the same as the 1997 model. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Deposit of 500.00 within 48 hours by PayPal is ok. Considering how much his films “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down” for popularizing the GS, you’d think Scottish actor Ewan McGregor was a BMW guy. His friend and co-star in those two travelogues, Charley Boorman is a BMW brand ambassador, and it’d be easy to assume McGregor is as well. The truth is McGregor, well known for his love of motorcycles, is a much bigger fan of Moto Guzzi.

EICMA 2013: Moto Guzzi V7 Series Updates

Not to be left out of the 2013 EICMA show announcements, Moto Guzzi has announced its changes for the three models that make up the V7 line. Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.
