MV Agusta Channels American Drag Racing In Latest Dragster RR Teaser Video

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

MV Agusta is creating buzz around its newest model, teased ahead of Intermot 2014. While some thought the new model might be a wire-wheeled version the Turismo Veloce, unveiled at EICMA last year, this video clearly shows MV is going in a different direction. Paying homage to the all-American sport of drag racing, the video showcases some American iron and the V8 engines that propel them in all their glory.

One-Off Ferrari Tribute Motorcycle Sold for $137,700

Wed, 02 May 2012

A one-off officially-endorsed Ferrari motorcycle has been sold at auction, taking in 85,000 British pounds (US$137,700). The Ferrari motorcycle was designed and built by former MV Agusta engineer David Kay in 1995 as a tribute to the Italian car-maker’s founder, Enzo Ferrari.

Both versions use a lighter engine crankcase than before, and both have names that suggest a displacement different than what is actually under the tank.
