2013 MV AGUSTA Brutale 800, The new 800 engine offers increased power, torque and riding dynamics for the naked MV Agusta. The new adjustable suspension and the new advanced electronics package makes the Brutale 800 leader in its segment. Graphics and special colors accentuate the unmistakably lines of MV Agusta. Brutale three-cylinder means handling, extreme agility, and absolute ease of use. Now with the new engine power and torque comparable to a 1,000 cc, and with a weight of only 167 kg, the 800 Brutale offers an unique power to weight ratio. Aside from the new engine, the Brutale 800 offers a new adjustable suspension allowing the riders complete personalization. A dependable advanced electronics package unique within this category: MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System), the integrated management system of the vehicle, includes the first Full Ride by Wire with multi-map and integrated traction control. Offering optimized delivery at all engine speeds, maximum engine efficiency in terms of fuel consumption, and of course the opportunity to select different engine characteristics, choosing from the four available maps: three pre-sets, one personalized. Traction control also ensures safety and performance on any road or track surface, allowing the driver to concentrate entirely on riding. The three-cylinder engine, which debuted on the supersport F3 675, forms the basis for the technological progress in its class, thanks to exclusive technical solutions such as the counter-rotating crankshaft, used in MotoGP, but never before seen on a production bike. The frame performance is guaranteed, thanks to MV Agusta s unique mixed structure: the front section of steel tube trellis combined with two light aluminum alloy plates, and a sculpted single-arm rear suspension. 2013 MV Agusta F4 Models Now Available with ABS
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Just as it did with its four-cylinder Brutale 1090 lineup, MV Agusta announced it is adding an ABS version of its F4 models to its 2013 offerings. Available for an extra 1000 euros (US$1,311), the Bosch ABS will be available for the baseline MV Agusta F4, the more upscale F4 R and the top-of-the-line F4 RR. That’ s quite a premium, but with base prices starting at 16,990 euros for the F4 R, 19,920 euros for the F4 R and 24,290 euros for the F4 RR, MV Agusta customers might not mind paying a bit more for ABS.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.
MV Agusta returns to MotoGP

In the 2019 season, the Agustas will start the battle in the intermediate Moto2 class, where all teams use one engine. Here’s a reminder that starting from next year, a single unit will be the 765-cc Triumph, which will replace the 600-cc four-cylinder Honda engine.
