This is a 2009 Kymco XCITING R with a 500cc engine. Has a few minor scratches but otherwise in great shape with no damage. Took this unit in on trade, do not know much history on it. I have ridden it, everything seems to work as suppose to. Runs good, brakes work good, all lights and turn signals work good, no rattles or odd noises. The person I obtained it from said that he occasionally would even take it out on the highway, I have ridden it on local roads around my house and have had it up to 55mph and it felt safe and solid and had much more left in it. Has new battery. I don't know about other states but in Indiana since it has a 500cc engine it is considered a motorcycle and requires insurance, license plates, and the operator must have motorcycle endorsement on their drivers license. No reserve auction with low starting bid, anyone is welcome to make arrangements to see it in person. I have never shipped anything like this so it will be local pickup only. I will need a $250 deposit through paypal within 24 hours of auction end and balance in cash at time of pickup. Do have a clean and clear Indiana title.

Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.
