This rim was removed from a brand new 2005 Kymco People 50. The scooter was delivered to our shop with some scratches on the rim that went through the paint and scratched the metal as well. We tried touching it up but it just wasn't good enough to sell on a new scooter so I replaced the rim with a new one from the factory. What you are getting is essentially a new rim with no miles on it that has some cosmetic defects. Perfectly functional and WAY under the $220 price of a new rim. This is leftover stock from our now closed scooter shop (sigh). Examine the pictures carefully to determine condition. Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.

Because the roads are wet and generally 'orrible, my bikes are looking like they've been rolling around in a field. I knew that Meguiar's were well established in the car world, but I didn't know they did a motorcycle specific range, so I thought I'd get some in to try it out.
2013 Kymco Scooter Lineup Announced

Joining Kymco‘s offerings are the Compagno in 50cc and 110cc iterations, the Movie 150 and the Xciting 500Ri ABS. The Compagno 50i and 110i (pictured above) feature a traditional Italian-style scooter design.
